Flying shuttle
My object for #bradfordrevealed #Bradford2025 is a flying shuttle, converted into a thermometer and with the crest attached. My mum bought it from a charity shop and I love it because it’s such a mundane and ordinary item, made from something key to the city’s textile heritage. As someone not from Bradford but rather adopted into it through Uni, I fell in love with the city’s heritage and love this tangible reminder of it.
