Alhambra Studios Programme
I was programmed by the Alhambra Studio in 1999 to present a new production ‘Krishna Dances’. Krishna is known for playing the bamboo flute, so I got together with photographer Tim Smith and dancer Leonard Jackson to create this photo. I was delighted when the theatre liked it so much they used it for the season brochure cover. I grew up in Bradford and still live there. The Alhambra Theatre holds a special place in my heart, it’s where the world of performance, imagination and creativity was sparked for me. This was the first time I was programmed by the theatre to present a full evening’s work to a paying audience, so the brochure holds many happy memories.
