Bradford Boar
This boar’s head reminds us of the 14th century Bradford legend of a wild boar terrorising Cliffe Woods, Undercliffe. The Lord of Manor offered a reward to anyone who could kill it. John Northrop vanquished the boar, removing its tongue to claim his reward. This boar, however, does have its tongue.
