Child’s leather shoe

I discovered this child’s leather shoe during lockdown on our first socially distanced walk with my grandchildren. A special occasion made even more special by finding this treasure buried in the bank next to the river in Bingley. With the sound of laughter and excitement at being there, though distanced but together for the first time in 3 months. It felt like another child from the past was seeking to connect with us. I’m here. We’re here. All together again. I’ll treasure this object forever.
