Crichton’s paintings
Local artist N. S. Crichton was commissioned to paint Bradford buildings and streets in the 1870s and 1880s. 19th -century Bradford was vastly changing at the time and Crichton’s paintings provides a unique insight into ‘bygone Bradford’ for posterity.
