A demonstration of the wealth and taste of those made rich by the textile industry in Bradford. A series made for Harden Grange. It was the first ever commission from Morris & Co for a private house, rather than a public building or church. There’s always a new detail to spot – like the heart in the ‘love philtre’ panel!
